EARN FREE PAINT FOR YOUR SCHOOL!
Hi! At Matisse Derivan we have been supplying schools with acrylic paints for over 40 years and we know that budgets are always tight.
We’d like to help.
To do this we are currently revamping our website www.matisse.com.au to include a large range of projects / lessons for teachers to use whenever they want.
The problem is, while we’re very good at making paint, we aren’t teachers, and we need your help to get this started.
We are inviting teachers to help us create a fantastic free teaching resource on our website – by simply submitting art lessons for publication. In return we will donate a generous $200 worth of paints for your school for every lesson published!
There’s no restriction to what sort of project you can do, or how many times you can submit lessons. In fact, the more creative, the better!
Of course, these lessons will need to feature our products, but that won’t be hard – we have a great range to choose from:

Terms and Conditions
1. Matisse Derivan accepts lessons/projects on a good faith basis.
2. This promotion is only open to Australian based schools.
3. Teachers / Schools enter on the understanding that their projects/lessons will be available for use to teachers / parents to freely use worldwide.
4. Teachers / Schools may enter as many times as they wish.
5. Prizes of $200 worth of free paint will only be awarded to those lessons/projects that are published.
6. Prizes will be supplied to schools, not individual teachers.
7. More than one prize may be issued to any school, if they have submitted more than one entry.
8. Prizes will be judged by Matisse Derivan, with a target of 24 lessons to be published initially, however, if there is a greater response, more will be included at a later date. Matisse Derivan will hold all submissions and reserve the right to publish these at a later date – however, the prize of $200 worth of paint will still apply.
9. Judging of prize winners will be by Matisse Derivan, and is not able to be contested.
10. As the objective is to have a large variety of lessons available for teachers, projects that provide variety may be considered more favourably. Factors may include originality, age level of project / lesson, products used, style or learning outcomes, or seasonal / thematic lessons/projects.
11. Lessons or projects submitted are required to include reference to Matisse Derivan products. Reference to products that are in direct competition with the Matisse Derivan range will void entry.
12. “$200 worth of free paint” refers to the value of Matisse Derivan paint and mediums at school prices.
13. Prizes are only able to be claimed in Matisse Derivan products, no monetary value can be claimed or refunded.
14. Teachers are required to gain consent of the Principal of their school before submitting any lessons/projects for consideration.
15. While not essential, projects with easy to follow photographs or samples of finished artwork will be given preference to those without.
16. For legal reasons, photographs should not include photos of students unless submitted with signed permission for Matisse Derivan to use these from the parents/guardians of those children. However, photographs with students hands etc included are suitable. These may be submitted electronically to matisse@matisse.com.au if preferred.
17. Lessons/projects are to follow the basic format provided, and must include a target age group, a list of materials, teaching objectives, and a step by step process. These may be submitted electronically to matisse@matisse.com.au if preferred.
